Dropbox audio files download speed up

Please, Dropbox, explain why some parts of your web site are fast downloading the app and other parts are slow downloading my file. I am having the same experience, in fact my upload speed which normally is only a fifth of the download speed is higher than the download speed. A couple of months ago I upgraded to Dropbox pro since I needed to share some large files - however there is no point in having large storage if you can't download the data.

I am having this problem on almost continous basis. Other sites download at speeds 5 to 10 times faster than dropbox so it is not my ISP. I have the same issue. How can that be? There is definitely a real issue here! This is why I will not join Dropbox any more. Unfortunately a friend insists on using it but I just think it's appalling that a service can have such horrible download speeds, and yet I can download from Google Drive and Onedrive in seconds.

This makes using dropbox for large files pointless! Dropbox please respond. I just did a follow-up test to see if, in the chunking of files and crypto, the process was CPU-bound. It wasn't. To be clear, syncing a 1TB pro account at this speed would take about days.

As a reference, it takes about days to create a human. And here I thought Microsoft was the one who has problems with their cloud service. Humourously, after three weeks' investigation, I was sent an auto-response pointing me to the main page of the help system and my issue was closed. The way we work is changing.
